“Ciencia, Conciencia y Justicia”, José Ramón Chaves García’s essay on legal epistemology — “knowing the law is not the same as knowing statutes” — reaches Italian readers as “Scienza, Coscienza e Giustizia. Per sapere di diritto non basta conoscere le leggi”.
It is the first translation in the Amicus Certus catalogue. It keeps the foreword by José Ramón Alonso and the cover illustration by José Manuel Esteban Guijarro, and it incorporates the author’s second round of corrections, so the Italian text matches the latest Spanish edition.
